Factoria is a square serif created by Mattox Shuler and published by Fort Foundry. It can easily cover a wide range of uses from technical application to newspaper employment. It comes in two weights: the light one which expresses efficiency and a thick one which conveys energy and personality.The italic type adds fluidity, especially as this category of typeface is characterized by thick, heavy and inflexible lines. It also includes eight weights and provides various Open Type features: Tabular figures, fractions, subscripts, superscripts, numerators, and denominators. Due to the clear and distinct appearance, Factoria has many features similar to the roman style, which make it suitable for headlines, advertisements, logos, posters and magazines.
